All my friends and family- every single one- has had at least one magical travel moment.The goal of Shazzaz is to compile these in one place for us all to share.

Okay, I have an ulterior motive, too. After devoting twenty-two years to raising three kids, two cats, various large, frolicsome golden retrievers and one small, but hungry, leopard gecko, I want to satisfy my pent-up wanderlust.

On my travel calendar for the next twelve months are New Hampshire, Santa Fe, Taos, North Carolina and California (scouting colleges), Montreal, London, Ghana, New York and Budapest. (And –fingers crossed– I’m cooking up a trip to India in Fall 2011).

Many of my friends and acquaintances have this same goal, so check out the blog, as we document our efforts to travel often, travel well and make a difference in the world.
